Science behind stretching

A muscle when it is stretched , The muscle spindles  sent a message to the central nervous system  and produce an active contraction of the muscles to prevent muscular damage.
1.relaxation of muscles is done.
2.range of motion is increased.
3. restoration of normal length of a muscle
4.Avoids ligament and soft tissue injuries.
5.increases flexibility.
 so in any form of exercise u follow stretching is the main ingredient of exercise to be complete and effective.
